Ladies Who Lunch

Last weekend me and my fellow blogger friend Fei (FancyMuffin) had lunch at Roofer’s Union in DC. Roofer’s Union is located in DC’s Adam’s Morgan neighborhood. We had lunch there on a Saturday Afternoon and it was super packed! The decor in Roofer’s Union is simple and clean with amazing natural lighting beaming through its big windows. My meal started off with a cup of coffee (my addiction) and a yummy biscuit. For the main meal i had the fried chicken thigh sandwich. I really enjoyed the chicken part of the sandwich which was seasoned with honey sriracha and other spices and was breaded nicely but the bread was a little dry for me :/ . The side of fries was definitely the highlight of the meal, the fries were light, crispy and seasoned so nicely… I am smiling thinking about them now lol. For my outfit i chose to mix a smart and casual vibe. I wore tight fitting black cargos by PLT via ASOS, a bandeau top from Fashionova and a light weight striped blazer from Target. For the shoes I wore low heeled sock boots for comfort and style purposes. Overall it was a great lunch date and it reminded me of what I need more of … girl times, lunch dates and great conversation. Thanks for reading! :)
